Country focus point -CFP Amra

As a Country Focal Point, responsibilities for AMRA and the organization of "The Climate Excellence Trophy" (TEC) would include:

1. National Coordination for AMRA
  • Official Representation: Act as AMRA’s representative with stakeholders, including government partners, NGOs, and international institutions.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor AMRA’s on-the-ground activities, such as setting up livestock units, distributing biofertilizers, and conducting training on sustainable agriculture.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress and communicate local needs and opportunities to AMRA headquarters.
  • Facilitating Partnerships: Identify and establish relationships with local partners to expand AMRA’s activities.
 
2. Organization of TEC (The Climate Excellence Trophy)
  • Candidate Mobilization: Raise awareness among local businesses, NGOs, and initiatives about the call for applications for TEC.
  • Logistical Coordination: Ensure smooth organization of TEC-related events, such as workshops, conferences, and award ceremonies.
  • Public Relations: Work with local media to promote the event and raise awareness about climate change action.
  • Follow-Up with Awarded Projects: Maintain contact with winners to evaluate the impact of the awards and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Document the event’s progress and outcomes, while suggesting improvements for future editions.
