During the 2024 Climate Excellence Trophy, 27 entrepreneurs pitched their projects in an online competition.

Out of these, 7 finalists were selected for their commitment and innovative solutions:

• Mhoumadi Taman, African Loop

• El Hadji Malick, Cactus Innovation

• Marcel Ouedraogo, Faso Fish

• Babacar Ngor, Organic Fertilization SAS

• Fatou Antoinette Boury, Jamm Hallam Bi

• Ibrahima Diatta, Tera Casa

• Diallo Amadou Tidiane, Ecological Transition (Guinea)

At the end of the competition, 3 winners were awarded for their outstanding initiatives:

1. Faso Fish by Marcel Ouedraogo

2. African Loop by Mhoumadi Taman

3. Organic Fertilization SAS by Babacar Ngor

 

Panel Discussions Summary

The event featured engaging discussions led by experts and climate activists on key topics, such as:

• Challenges of the ecological transition in Africa, focusing on local solutions.

• Innovation in climate entrepreneurship, highlighting initiatives that turn climate challenges into opportunities.

• The role of youth and women in combating climate change, emphasizing their inclusion and empowerment.

• The event served as a platform for dialogue, idea-sharing, and strengthening collective actions to protect our planet.
